Turtle Beach by Elegant Hotels has an excellent location on Barbados' south coast, just a short drive from the island's capital, Bridgetown. The area known as St Lawrence Gap is within walking distance. The Turtle Beach gets its name from the sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the beach on which the hotel stands. The turtles must be pretty clever because this 1,500 foot long dazzling white beach is one of the best in the area.

At the beach the hotel provides its guests with a range of complimentary water sports including boogie boarding, Hobie Cat sailing windsurfing and kayaking. The beach is also a great place for swimming and generally having fun playing games or just simply lying in the sun acquiring a tan.
