There are two sizzling white sandy beaches where guests can enjoy a choice of complimentary non-motorised water sports including kayaking, sailing and pedalos. Swimming in the warm, clear waters or relaxing on a sun lounger is a less energetic way to have some fun.
Away from the beach guests at the resort have a choice of no less than six pools to choose from for a quiet dip. One of the pools is for children to splash about in and, just to be fair, the Tranquillity Pool is for adults only.
Hidden away in a quiet spot of the Club Area is the Tennis Centre. Here guests can choose from two artificial grass courts or four hard courts. Lessons are available for a fee. Near to the tennis courts is the Outdoor Teen Centre. Pool tables and table tennis tables are available and the centre has wonderful views of the sea.
Children are not only welcome at the St James’s Club, they are positively encouraged. They have their own Kids Club which has an extensive programme of fun activities including arts and crafts, treasure hunts and face-painting. The club is for children from four years of age to eleven. Older children and young teens also have some facilities of their own, the Teen Club. There are table tennis and pool tables and sand volleyball courts on offer here.
When on holiday it is nice to relax and indulge in a little pampering. The Spa Tranquillity at St James’s Club is a welcome oasis in the midst of all the activity of the resort and provides a wide range of spa treatments to ease the aches and pains from tired muscles. Spa Tranquility is newly refurbished with an outdoor treatment area which offers beautiful views of Mamora Bay.
In complete contrast, The Seaside Gym will get the blood flowing and the muscles working hard with its cardio machines and free weights. The gym has extra-large windows looking out over the sea, providing an additional motivation to pay a visit.
A Caribbean wedding is the dream of many a bride-to–be and at the St James's Club there is a specialist team of wedding planners just waiting to make it happen. The hotel will arrange all the details for the prospective bride and groom and the hotel has special wedding packages that are fully-inclusive of their services.
