The Palms Casino Resort is situated about a mile from the major attractions of the Las Vegas Strip, making it about a 20-minute walk or a short taxi ride away. This resort is known for its boisterous party atmosphere and is popular with celebrity guests.

The main action centres around the two large swimming pools where DJ music and dancing are available throughout the day and most of the night. For privacy, at the pool, there are a number of luxury cabanas for hire, all of them having TVs, refrigerators, luxury furniture and a safe. More relaxing swimming experience is available at the Palms Place pool which is on the sixth floor of the Palms Place tower. It has a calming landscaped area which is perfect for sunbathing.

There is actually a sun-tanning parlour in the hotel although the climate in Las Vegas being what it is, you probably won't need it. The hotel has two spas and two beauty salons, all offering guests the chance to unwind with a massage or a beauty treatment.

The Las Vegas resort hotels are well known for their extravagant and well-presented shows and the Palms resort is no exception, as it has three concert venues and five nightclubs, all offering a constantly changing programme of performances. There is also a huge 14 theatre and cinema complex on the site.

Some of the most hip and trendy night clubs and cocktail bars in Las Vegas can be found within Palms Resort including the world's only Playboy Club. Other highlights include the Moon Nightclub with its spectacular retractable roof and Rain Nightclub offering fireballs, water fountains and an elevated dance floor. The Pearl Concert Theatre holds up to 2,500 people and hosts many famous acts throughout the year.

The casino offers guests the usual range of table games and slot machines, with stakes to suit all pockets. High rollers will make for the Playboy club where the table limits are particularly high.

There is a choice of cuisine to suit all palates offered by the 11 restaurants and fast food cafes at the Palms Resort. The selection includes Italian, Asian, American, Mexican and Chinese. For large eaters, there is the usual Las Vegas buffet where one can eat as much as one likes for a fixed price.
